Hi, I would recomend you feed your bunnies a plain rabbit pellet food not one with lots of goodies in it because a bunny (like any child)will pick out just the treats to eat and may not get the balanced nutrition,HAY you should not use alfalfa with bunnies it is to rich and does not digest as well,Timothy Hay is the hay of choice for a properly fed bunny,TREATS do not use lettuce unless it is in very very small quanities there is no nutritional value to plain lettuce it is mostly water and can cause diarhea and dehydration,if you must use a green leafy treat use turnip greens,or spinach,or mustard greens, best treats are carrots ,apples, tomatoes, peaches, zuchini, summersquash, spaghetti squash, beets, green beans, pumpkin, and even cantalope.try different things so your bunny doesn't get in a rut and only eat one kind of treat, some rabbits are slow to try new things especially older rabbits so don't leave any treat in there over 14 hours or so if it hasn't been eaten remove it and try something new.REMEMBER we are talking TREATS so don't over do it you want your bunny to eat his regular food too. Thanks Pat
