Unfortunately a rabbit like that needs to be dealt with by a professional,sometimes it is just caused by inappropriate handling,I have taken many a rabbit that was called demon rabbit,pysco rabbit,hell bunny,etc..and had them turn out to be some of the sweetest rabbits I've ever owned,not all bad rabbits are bad by heredity some get that way from not being handled properly early on.It is IRRESPONSIBLE to DUMP a Bunny in a field,There are animal shelters and Bunny rescues in most towns now.Please if you must at least take him to a shelter it is more HUMANE than dumping a pet rabbit in a field where it will either starve,die of thirst or be ripped to shreds by a stray dog ,coyote,racoon,possum,cat,or many other creatures that prey on bunnies.Thanks Pat
