Subject: Desperate Father

Bob, I don't know if this is the correct procedure to get a message to you but - I'm a desperate father, who through know fault of my own seems destined to live my life without my 2 girls, Ellie diamond, and Grace Lily, aged 4 and 2 respectively. It is an extremely long and sad story but at present I'm am locked out of a country (Australia) where my girls are living with my wife and her new boyfriend. For the past year I have fought through the legal system to try and have the girls brought back to me and their loved ones. I have spent thousands of pounds. The final hearing took place 7 weeks ago in the high court at Brisbane. It was determined by the child barrister that in the best interests of the children they should return to the UK with their father. However, the judge, who had a reputation of being pro-mother, and despite all the evidence in my favour, ordered that they remain in Australia with their mother.

This ruling was given despite the fact that I had no means of living and working in Australia and my wife who is Australian can return to Britain to live and work anytime she chooses.

The oldest girl Ellie, is extremely attached to her father and during my court order phone calls continually expresses a wish to come and live with me.

I am so disilusioned with the system and how unfair, it has treated the girls and I.

I think about the girls every minute of every day, it is so hard to keep positive.

I'm a teacher by profession.

I know you are a busy man, and I'm not really sure if there is anything you can do but, due to your recent stance on the plight of fathers I thought I could give you an idea of my plight.

There is so much more of this story and I firmly believe now that I need to tell it in full. Please contact me if you can offer any guidance of where I should go from here.

Kind regards

Stuart Oliver MBA

Dear stuart,
did Bob help you? How are you getting on. My heart goes out to you. It is so cruel to keep a loving father away from his children. Keep on phoning them and sending them letters and photos. Let your wife know that you will never desert your daughters, no matter how much pressure she exherts.
Bev G.
