I first met The Mick at his 50th birthday party which was memorable for a few reasons,from nearly trashing UB40's "band bus" outside West Midlands safari park en-route (sorry Ast) to reminding Sir Bob that he was still required to queue in the free beer tent (you do that sort of thing when you've cart wheeled at 80mph whilst admiring the sea lions).Later that night, Sir Bob and the boys played a few tunes whilst the RAC repaired our transport, I would've been happy to stay a week or two - the Owen hospitality had that effect.
Someday soon "God and The Righteous" will have a No.1 hit with Mick's input and heaven will be better for having him.

We miss you already Michael.
