Subject: Helping young fathers in Norwich

Dear Bob,
Don't know if you read these messages but here's hoping ...

Friday 1st November:
I run a young fathers project in Norwich. Please would you consider coming to speak to the group?

Our aim is to support and provide practical help and advice to young fathers who want to be actively inovlved with their kids. We aim to help young dads who face a variety of obstacles, and who somethimes are unsure about how to do what's best.

We offer one-to-one advice, organise practical activities and events and hope to start a support group in the new year.

We run a Tuesday lunchtime drop from 12 - 2 p.m and offer a free lunch and a place for dad's to bring their children and hang out with other dads. We do this at MAP - a young persons advice and counselling service, located just behind the Theatre Royal in Norwich.

I'm currently putting together a series of activities and talks for the lunch time drop in.

I notice that you are doing a gig at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday 10th December. Could you come along to our lunchtime drop-in that day and talk to us? Your devotion to your children and the public stance you have taken on Fatherhood issues, has made you an inspiration to the dads, who would be chuffed to get the chance to talk to you.

Please get in touch with me at MAP (Mancroft Advice Project) on (01603) 766994 or reply to this email address.

Thank you for giving this your consideration - Andy Wood.
