Subject: newcastle opera house gig 3 / 12

never bothered to send a message to a board before, but feel inspired to do so in this case. went to see geldof at the opera house last nite and feel its the best 15 quid Ive spent in bloody ages. the music was of unquestionable quality and the crack was even better. Im even off to part with some hard earned this weekend in exchange for a few shiny discs from the man himself. I'll certainly follow future exploits and eagerly await his return to the north east. if youve never bothered to see him and the band live, get off your arse and do so when they grace a stage nearby.

I agree it was a great gig. I was there last night too. It was the 4th gig I'd been to this year and I'm at another on Saturday. They are a great band and I love the music ranging from the Rats stuff through to the more resent songs from the new album.Anyone who hasn't yet seen the band you really should try and get along to a gig. It's well worth it and you won't be disappointed.
