Subject: Glasgow Fruitmarket (Celtic Connections)

It's been 12 years since Bob last visited Glasgow, and he and the band made up for it with an absolutely barnstorming performance (and having us in stitches with his stories inbetween).

But why was Pete Briquette spending so much time hiding at the back of the stage. Don't tell us he's gone all shy in his old age!

Thanks Bob for a brilliant gig, especially for the variety that was played across all Rats & solo albums to date (especially for "Inside Your Head", "Mary Of The Fourth Form" and most of all for "Diamond Smiles").

And thanks for the EXCELLENT news that the old Boomtown Rats CDs will be coming out in April!

Don't think I'll come down from this high for a week - haste ye back! Maybe next time I'll get to hear "Drag Me Down" & "Never In A Million Years" (I can but hope!)
