Dear Mick,
so you pass on messages to Bob. Please please pass this message on to Bob. I saw him at the Playhouse at Weston-Super-Mare in April 02. I was the mad woman who leant on the stage and told him how much I loved him. He humoured me in a very nice way. He must think that I am completely barmy. I really really adore him. I first saw him when I was 13, I was smitten. I saw him at the Odeon, Birmingham in 1980 when I was 16. I persuaded a security guard to take me to the front. The Mondo Bongo concert was brilliant. Since then I have got on with my life. I am a sane married woman with two children and a career lving in Clevdon. I have followed Bob's life (obviously through the media). I always felt that he was destined for great things. The Live Aid proved it. I really do highly respect him. When I went to the Playhouse last year, I couldn't believe the extent of my emotions. The second I saw him, tears just poured down my face. I couldn't stop myself. I just think that Bob is really the greatest man that ever walked the earth. He is so opinionated and uses his fame in the right way. That night at the Playhouse, I realised my ambition: to tell Bob that I love him. I really really do love him. Please will you tell him again for me.
I would love to talk to Bob regarding Fathers' Rights. I do realise that this is a very tender subject for Bob. But I would love to discuss with him the fact that some women find it hard to leave abusive husbands. My first marriage was to a wife beating abusing alcoholic- but I was too afraid to leave him. Eventually as I grew stronger, I managed to get him to leave. The courts actually forbade him access to the children because of his sexual deviances. So there always is another side to a story. I firmly believe that good father should have plenty of access to their children. I am a registered childminder, and recently three of my families have experienced breakups. I have encouraged the parents to keep talking and to consider the children first and to make sure that both parents have plenty of time with the children. Bob would be proud of me.
As I'm sure you realise, I'm not a mad woman, just hopelessly devoted to Bob. Please tell him that I love him, and I would love a reply so much.
Bev G.
