Subject: A year later.....

A year gone by in just a day.
Left here on earth to sit and pray.
I knew in my heart when the towers fell.
Never again would I feel quite well.
In words I try to convey my thoughts.
But even those can't fix the loss.
Tears flow from my eyes each day.
But tears don't take the pain away.
My heart is left tattered and torn.
For those lost, I'll forever mourn.
