I mean, honestly, has anyone been listening to the insanity lately? Palin has already promised the moon and lower taxes too.

A new quasi-religous movement has sprung up around "prosperity" gospel, which I surely can't find in the Bible anywhere. Apparently, Jesus was actually rich, and he rewards his true believers with cash, not spiritual gifts. Prosperity believers get up in church and tell how they got unexpected "gifts" of cash from God. They expect Jesus to come through for them in hard times. Are you surprised if I tell you the very hardest hit areas in the mortgage and bankruptcy crisis were the ones where this is popular?

When a country starts worshipping money, there is no end to how far down they can go.

This is crazy. The only end is major war or bankrupting the country, THEN major war.
