Jeff, at this point I have almost given up hope of any sanity by voters and Congress alike.
So much has been accomplished in less than 2 years,but all we hear is how bad each accomplishment is.

Nothing is perfect and things will have to be worked out,but the lie that the Government would never recoup what they spent on the bank bailout,GM,etc.is a lie according to the experts.Most of the money has been repaid and more will be.
GM is preparing to offer stock to finish the repayment they owe.

So much we hear on the MSM is down right distorted beyond any pretense of being truthful.

I hear caller after caller on CSpan repeat the latest Fox news word for word.
We have the COC and the Tea party pretending to be for the people when in truth the Tea Party is being funded by the Koch Brothers,(long time Libertarians).

I did not vote for Obama or John McCain.But can tell you this.I am now reading," The Promise," by Jonathon Alter,who I consider one of the best Journalists around.It is well worth the read to see just how Obama was actually makings decisions before he took the Oath of Office,with Bush's blessing,I might add.Bush was so happy to leave the mess Cheney had created he turned it over to Obama.
The level headed Obama made decisions and did not allow naysayers to change them.

This may come as a surprise to many.If I had known more about Obama I would have voted for him.He was even smart enough to name Hillary SOS,because he knew she was respected overseas and could heal the rift.

I know this is long but do hope all will read the book.
