"Give me a good death scene." an actor says. As some of their best work is done in a good death scene. Maybe that is why some of the best work done by our Amanda is in "The Lair of the White Worm." One of the few films in which her character truly dies. In "Circus" her death is faked. In "Hooded Angels," she is the only one of the gang to ride away at the end. And in this film, just when you think she is dead, she gets away to teach another day.

Notice the decline of the schools in which she teaches. From
private to public suburban to public inner city.

It is not that Europeans are any less concern about adutls having sex with children. Indeed, as a percentage there is probably more of them that want to make it an international crime, so it can be tried in the international courts, but when they do show it in a film, they are bolder in what they show, then we Americans. For example . . .

And notice her hair. It always tells you something about her character. The more stressed her character is, the shorter her hair is. The less stressed her character is, the longer her hair is.
