We know that the new "Dr Who" has been successful enough, that there will be a second season.

We also know that Eccleston, who is playing Dr. Who, wants out at the end of the first season.

Until David Tennant was chosen to play Dr. Who during the second season, there was some thought that the next Dr. Who would be a woman.

While Sarah Douglas was the odds on favorite to play a female Dr. Who. There was some talk that our Amanda might get the role.

If our Amanda had gotten the role, would Billie Piper, who plays Rose, Dr. Who's assistant, have put on a scout uniform to make our Amanda feel at home?

There are still three more regenerations to go, so if there is to be a female Dr. Who, it still might be our Amanda.
