Subject: The Bond Girls

For those of you in the know, the term "The Bond Girls" refers to those women who have appeared in a Bond film, from Ursula Andress in "Dr. No" w/ Sean Connery to Halle Berry in "Die Another Day" w/ Pierce Brosnan.

Why I bring this up is, that recently, on television, there was a special on these "Bond Girls." One of whom was suppose to be our Amanda, who was suppose to star in "The Living Daylights" w/ Timothy Dalton, until Maryam d'Abo got the part. And looking at the clips from the film, our Amanda would have been good in that part. Maybe not as good as d'Abo, but good nevertheless.

And as d'Abo was also the hostess for the program, our Amanda would have been good in that part as well.

It was interesting to see the special. Not only to see the film clips, but, also to see how women have evolved over the films. From a state of being somewhat dependent on Bond to a state of being somewhat independent of Bond.
