Again the number in parentheses is the time it takes the event to occur.

Temple House is .845 miles (or 446l.6) west of the intersection.

4:51.45, after a period of 35 seconds, Sylvia and Kevin leave the intersection (actually, they leave from 71.30 feet PAST the intersection.) And traveling at a speed of 88 feet per second (or a distance of 4400 feet) in her car, they arrive at the entrance to Temple House at 4:52.35 (50.) Actually, they are now 9.7 feet PAST the entrance to Temple House, but relatively for this problem, it is a small error.

And Crowden-in-Longdendale or the Longden youth hostel is one mile past (or west) of the entrace of Temple House.
