Bebe's character in "Tadpole," becomes romantically involved with a 16-year-old boy. But, she could not passionately kiss her co-star, until she learned that the 16-year-old character was played by a 25-year-old actor.
That can't be said of our Amanda, when she played Lady Sylvia Marsh in "Lair of the White Worm." She not only passionately kissed 15-year-old Kevin, played by 17-year-old Chris Pitt, she gave him a sponge bath, while he was in the tub, and saw him naked, or, at least, in his underpants, when he was in the tub.
Nor can it be said of Dutch born, Sylvia Kristal, who played a character, who, again, became romantically involved with a 15-year-old, played by 17-year-old Eric Brown, in "Private Lessons."
It is not only American actresses who have trouble in certain romantic situations.
