I don't want to give you the idea, that Amanda makes it a habit of puching out the fans of her latest boyfriend or girlfriend, but, in this case she might have been justified.
As the fan was armed with a knife and described as being obsessed.
As to whether the people at this web site enoy her acting and/or fancy her, I think for myself, it might be a little of both. Given the right role, the right script, and the right director, she can turn in a good performance. Probably better then some of the better known actresses of today. You might ask Jon what was her best roles, as he has seen most of everything she has done.
And as for fancying her, she looks so good both naked in "Castaway" and both clothed and naked in "Lair of the White Worm." One can see what I mean by going to www.nitrovideo.com, where they have 16 films clips of Amanda. 5 from "Castaway" and 11 from "Lair of the White Worm." Unfortunately, the site is a pay site, and the clips are apparently not free for viewing. And that is all I know about the site, but, I am tempted to join, I fancy her so. Now, if my name really was Kevin, and I could still get into my old boy scout uniform. LOL!
And some of us are gathering at St. Margaret's Bed and Breakfast in London, England, from Friday, October 3, to Sunday, October 5, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the orignal release of "Lair of the White Worm," and in an around about way, Amanda's appearance in it. There is to be a snakes 'n' ladders tournament; a trivia quiz; visits to Gaddesden Place, Knebworth House, and Thor Cave (I hope); a memorial spaghetti dinner; and a viewing of the film on dvd with director's commentary. You and your boyfriend are welcome to join us.
