Here we have in Lady Sylvia, a collector of art, a connoiseur of theatre and film, fond of fine wines and fast cars, an impeccable dresser, and an eater of frozen TV dinners or their English equivalent.
We know she doesn't cook. And Mrs. Trent, who most likely lives with her, while she once cooked, most likely no longer cooks. So, that leaves Kevin.
It has been suggested that instead of drowning Kevin in the tub, Lady Sylvia should have kept him around as one of her lovers. (A lady on one side of her, Mrs. Trent, and a teenage boy, Kevin, on the other? Hmmm! Sounds like a man I heard about.) But, I also suggest that she should have kenpt him around to cook for her. I learned to cook, when I was in the American Scouts, and I presume British Scouts, like Kevin, learn to cook, too.
To be continued . . .
