Thanks for the tip on scheduling as an independant. Davis has been an indy for about a decade and scheduling as a I-AA indy on the West coast is a hell of a lot easier than scheduling as a D2 indy (because there are limited D2 west coasters and the I-AA's dont want to take the chance on losing to a D2).

Who cares if Davis isn't playing Fresno State? The move was made to play against the Big Sky schools in football without having to play in their crappy basketball conference and be limited in terms of baseball softball and soccer. Your point about the Pac-10 schools is pretty much 100% wrong as Oregon State is trying to get Davis for the home opener in 2006. A game with Cal may be arranged for 2008 as a Northern California UC festival.

I know why you want Davis to drop football, but tell me why would it make sense for the University? It's the most popular and succesful team in the Sacramento Valley. There is a $30 million dollar stadium opening it's doors in 2005.
