 Aeroklub Čakovec nije član HZS zbog toga jer nas isti smatraju konkurencijom savezu (njihov problem sto ne surađujemo međusobno). Za sad je status quo. Kalendar mitinga ne postoji (zbog organizacijskih i težih financijskih problema aeroklubova Hrvatske, a neznatna ili nikakva pomoć HZS-a i ostalih institucija), dok aeromitinbg u Čakovcu je tradicionalnog i međunrodnog karaktera i osržava se svake godine zadnji vikend u kolovozu.
