When I was a kid sex ed was taught by a football coach. Our lessons were watching tapes of the games he coached. My graduating class had a number of girl/mothers, which I blame on the non-existent sex ed.

I don't agree with "telling kids that once they do become sexually active, it is imperative they discuss it with a health care professional." I don't think many sexualy active kids will ask for advise. I feel it is better to get them familar with means to not become pregnant.

Interestingly the reposrt states that 3/4 of the drop off in pregnancies is because kids are doing a better job of preventing pregnancy.

Thanks for the report, I hadn't realzied that more kids were waiting. I thought the opposite occured.
