Subject: [NSSWOTA] Men of Steel: Superman vs. Mega Men [NSSWOTA]

Since I've come into another roadblock in DoG, I've decided to go ahead and just put up some brainspew. Mmmmmm.....brainspew. This has nothing to do with anything, I only put the NSSWOTA up there to get ya to read it. But since it's there, I'll go ahead and make this a non-canon story. I'm just gonna write it into the post-box, so this aint gonna be my best, but 'ere goes.....

Reminder: This does not take place in DoG, but does include all of the characters, including mew.. Actually, now that I think about it, this will help me greatly in getting past my block.....fun....

Men of Steel
Superman
versus
Mega Man

Scene: SH HQ, all the clansmen are around the TV.

Mr. Phule: Why are we watching this, again?

Drake: A recent poll came out, showing that 60% believed that Mega Man could defeat Superman in a fight.

Mr: Phule: And...

Emrys: Well of course, Superman was pissed...

Drake: Challenged Mega Man to a fight...

Anthrax: The media got ahold of it...

Omnivich: As a result of the sequence of occurances that have recently been recounted, the upcomming contest has arisen to an elevated status in society.

::everyone looks at Tseng::

Tseng: ::sigh:: It's a popular fight.

Mr. Phule: My head hurts.

mew.: mewmewMEWmew

::everyone looks at Omnivich::

Omnivich: ::sigh:: Our feline compatriot would like to pose an inquiry regarding which of us is currently within the rotation to affect the appropriate counter-measures required by the final stages of the feline digestion.

::everyone looks at Tseng::

Tseng: ::sigh:: Who's turn is it to clean mew.'s litter box?

Mr. Phule: Anthrax, go.

Anthrax: I did it last time! In fact, I do it every time! Why do I have to do it?

Mr. Phule: Because whoever cleans out that box usually dies in the process, and you're the only one who can safely die.

Anthrax: You know....I really got jipped in this cannon fodder thing.

Anthrax: Or what? Not like you can do anything worse than I already go through.

Anthrax: I hate that laugh....it's never a good laugh.

Mr. Phule: Yea, in the meantime, I'm going up to my room, where I have my Playstation 4 and Final Fantasies 10-26.

Drake: WHAT?

Mr. Phule: We're fictional characters, and I happen to be the favorite character of the author. I get whatever I want.

Drake: NO FAIR!

Mr. Phule: Yea well, that'll teach you to brag about having a PS2 in the house.

Drake: DAMN

Emrys: Yo, author dude. Can we get back to the story, please?

Emrys: Guys! Guys! It's starting!

Drake: Turn it up! Turn it up!

TV Announcer: ...and here we are at the Destructo-Dome where the Man of Steel competition is gearing up to get underway. With the details of the fight, Sports Commentator Guy, and Sports Commentator Guy#2!

Sports Commentator Guy: Thank you Announcer. WEll we've got a fight lined up tonight.

Sports Commentator Guy #2: That's right. We've rigged the Destructo Dome arena to give the combatants a level playing field. Scattered throughout the arena are various opponents that the Men of Steel can fight against. Mega Man, of course, will gain the weapon of any opponent he kills, and Superman will be able to deny Mega Man weapons by dispatching them himself.

Announcer: It should be quite a fight between Steel Men. As you know, the recent poll showed favor towards Mega Man. Any predictions on the fight?

Sports Commentator Guy#2: Mega-Man. His ability to absorb powers just gives him the edge. Right now, there's only one thing on Mega-Man's mind: Find Kryptonite Man and blow Superman Away. He's just got the moves, the power, and the weapons.

Sports Commentator Guy: On the other hand, if Superman happens to have a pointy object....

Sports Commentator Guy#2: Right..

Announcer: That's a good point.

Sports Commentator Guy#2: Hadn't thought of that.

Sports Commentator Guy: Of course, it's a matter of whether or not Superman thinks of it too.

Announcer: Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see How it happens. But right now we're going to go live into the locker room, where reporter Lois Lane is speaking with Superman righ~~~-

Mr. Phule: Damnit Drake, stop changing the channel!

Drake: Yea well, it was boring. Let's watch something else until the fight starts.

Emrys: Yes, let's.

Mr. Phule: Why do we even want to watch this anyway?

Emrys: Because the author is bored waiting for one of his friends to get back from class.

Ahem....citizens of the board, I wish to know how this story should end. Each of you may cast two votes for who you think should win the contest. You cannot vote for the same competitor more than once. The only names on the ballot are Superman and Mega Man, although write-ins are accepted.

Voting will end on February 3rd, 2001.
