Ok, theoretcailly speaking. 0.999.... is so close to 1 that it doesnt matter anyways, but it never will be 1, it will always be smaller than 1, even though it may be so small it is impossible to calculate, it is still smaller.

Also, I know a way, using chain of logic I learned in Geometry, to prove that 1=2, but we all know it doesnt. yet I have PROOF that 1=2, I'd be lucky if I could remember the whole thing, much less figure a way out to write it on the message board, but 1=2.

Now, 1/3 x 3 may equal one, but 0.333.. does not, even though my dumbass windows calculator says it does.. uhh, umm, no... 0.3333... does not equal one, this thing is on crack, I never did trust my computer, not once did I ever trust it I say. ::sigh:: Ok, to get 0.3333 I divided 1 by 3, then I multiplied it by three and got 1, when I wrote out 0.33333333333333333333 however, and multiplied it by 3, it came out to be .999... so, yeah :P

.999 does not equal 1, just like 1 does not equal 2.

I have a feeling I am going to be humiliated with phules responce, when he proves to me it is.. ::sigh:: I will never belive it though. Never!

Drake, err, Ekard

PS. I will never look at my name the same way again... ::sigh::
