hmm, well, the 6 housemaster are the council idea was good, but I totally agree with Phule on that one, just so you know how I feel about that..

umm, I liked it though. the voting thing and stuff like that, coupled with the ranking system Phule and I figured out last summer, would work perfectly..

yeah. Yes, it is really a terrific system, see, a council member is not much mor ehten a figure head, really the HM's run the clan, or rather, they run their house. The Council members, simply keep the Houses running together smoothly, and they make sure that there arent imbalances that should be fixed or stuff like that. They also do tourny's and hold the meetings and such.

Thats what I'm saying, it would work wonderfully..

One thing your gonna hafto know about me, I am the product of a californian school system, I know little to none about that stuff... I wont have government untill next semester, soo....

I know, but your a college guy, and have gone thorugh governemtn, and have a vast interest in stuff such as governemnt.. :)

ohh, hehe, ohh well. umm, I like the federal the most.

When you start getting into more then 2 or 3 members controlling the clan, it gets really really hard to keep communications up, and to keep everyone happy. what would happen, is one house would want something, only have anothe rhouse online at the time, make the decision, and then affect the clan all by themselves...

See, a week is a very long time on the internet, when people get ideas, they want them to be put into action ASAP, thats why The council system is nice, cuase stuff gets done quickly. You see, the whole job of the council member, is to make sure the ways of the universe are even, hehe

ohh yes, yeah that is a very cool idea, it's the house system that made SH last as long as it did, and as well as it did. The only problem we have, is running the houses together smoothly.

Any word on Naz btw?
Problem is that it always is, and always will be a popularity contest, and that is why, you would do good, to joina house that is democratic, instead of one that is very, uhh uniterical or whatever..
been there. done that, hehe.

Welp, as to the council system, it really is a good system. They arent totaly in control, and are voted in, everytime a ne opining is, open... When a council member is gone longer then 2 weeks, or if he does somethign stupid, and is voted out, the spot is then open, to any member who wishes. there is no set time period to be a council member, and it usually turns out to be more work then play to be one. Boy ohh boy do i know that..

Well, that could be part of the job discirption of the HM, he must keep very up-to date records of his clan, that he will give to a council member, every week, and at the end of the meeting that week, the council members get to updating the page, and do it all in one burst, instead of constantly working on it. Not everybody knows HTML,
a good leader, shouldn't be judged on his HTML skill,s howevrm a council member should.
even so, you try keeping advanced records of all your members, and run your house, it's hard work.

one problem with that though, is that they all get their own pages, and they all have different formats, which makes the page look sloppy.. it was a really good idea, to have the members listed in tables the way they were.
well, this is something, we should pst on the board, and ask opinions about.. :)

When I was in HA, and I joined my house, all i ever wanted to do, was play with my HM. Not wait for the HM, to finish doing HTML work or something...

I have about 5-10 mor emins, then I have to hit the sack, school tommarow, and I gato wake up in 5 hours.. eesh


All the houses, have the same medals, thats what keeps us a clan, with houses. We nede soemthing to tie the houses to SH, and medals is one good way of doing so.

well, we have thought long and hard about that, which is why weve come up of the fewer, harder to get medals...


all of this should be posted on the boad, to get teh general opinon of it....

The reason why i'm such a sticlker for the old system is becuase it worked, and it worked well, we just made the mistake of letting a bad seed, get into the council spot.
I wont be, I am considering all your ideas about it.
