First of all, when I say "spy" that's a somewhat loose approximation of what we mean. In reality, this is a person who will "join" TC and be allowed access to the clan's town hall. At that point, the individual selected for the task will loot it for all it's worth, and add it's value to OUR town hall.

And in awnser to your question, yes it's juevenile. However, if you really think about it, so are computer games and clans in general. If we wanted to be sophisitocated we'd be sitting around drinking cocktails and discussing wall street. I prefer to be young at heart. :-)

As for California...well, you made some decent points. However, Southern California still does not compare in any way to Northern California. Surfing competitions? Oh Puleeeez! The only people who care about surfing are those who themselves surf. And I do hate to break it to ya, but there aren't all that many of ya. As for the homosexual thing, don't be so homophobic. I have a few freinds who are homosexual. Aside from thier personal lives, which are, quite frankly, thier personal lives, hence, none of my business, they are quite normal. That doesn't mean I condone homosexuality, simply that I have nothing against homosexuals. Yes, there is a difference. It's hating the thing, not the person.

Also, the stereotype for San Fransisco is vastly magnified. Such is really not the case. In fact, I know a great deal more homosexuals from my 2 year tenure in Indiana than I have in my 12 years in California.

As for gas prices, well, you're right. We gettin' screwed over for that. But I fail to see how gas prices alone could make this part of California any better or worse than down south. Quite the contrary. The only way they could get away with having the gas so high is if people were willing to pay it. And why would people be willing to pay so much for gas unless the surrounding area were that much cooler? I mean, think about it. If northern California sucks so bad, why are people willing to sit around paying ridiculous amounts for gasoline? That just doesn't make sence. Therefore, the contrary must be viable, which is that since it's such a cool place, they can get away with charging so much. Face it Thraxy-baby...I've gotcha beat on this point.

As for playing on HEAT. I knew a long time ago that HEAT sucked. How did I know? Because Swordbane simply loves it. It's insane, but he wrote a really long post on the TC board a while ago trying to sell HEAT.

The thing with HEAT is that they give "points" out to win free stuff. Any software given for free is...well crap. I won a free game once. I can't remember what it was, but I had fun destroying the CD. For a while, I actually had fun thinking up all the ways to destroy AOL CD's. That's on the level that the stuff you can win on HEAT is. You only get that if you become a Premium member too, which costs money. I think they do that so people wont care when it's so laggy. I've heard that HEAT is about as laggy as they come, but ahh well.
