level 8 ranger here.if you like bg then get tosc it is not as buggy as plain bg and you can play bg from start to it no ending they pumped your half bro a bit added new magic itemsand increadsed the level thresholdadded new splls and it isnt as gready as it was.ie gives a little more gold on the beasties you kill.and you will find more scrolls there seamed to be a shortage on scrolls if you didnt notice at least on the ones you can find. plus non id magic items are now blue
the only draw back is you cant play with somebody who doesnt have it once it is installedbecause it rewrites some files.but it is the same game up to the finale save then it adds a whole new area
