Many of you have been a great help in the past. It now time to repeat the protest to the British Prisons. Instead of releasing Aidan Hulme, they demanded extortion money to the tune of £9,000 before they release him.
ACT NOW, write again to those with the power to intervene on behalf of Aidan Hulme, a 25 year old man held on charges without bail being granted. In Britain they call this "On Remand".

The Irish Freedom Committee would like to sincerely thank each and every
one of you who have written to the British Government in recent weeks on
behalf of the appalling treatment to Irish prisoner Aidan Hulme. We
have been contacted from across the United States and around the world
by many, many people who have spoken up and let the British government
know that this treatment is unacceptable. We have no doubt whatsoever
that Britain will not want to go on record as having allowed the
needless amputation of a limb to one of the Irish prisoners in its
charge. However, as of today, AIDAN HAS STILL NOT BEEN RELEASED.
Please don't delay -- send an instant e-mail message TODAY to the
British Government and Belmarsh prison, asking that Aidan Hulme be
granted immediate compassionate bail to a London hospital which is
standing by awaiting his release for emergency surgery to save his leg
from amputation.
