The Irish Freedom Committee wishes to acknowledge the great assistance this organization has given in exposing the plight of Aidan Hulme to human rights advocates around the world, throughout his ordeal. Human rights should not be supported only when politically correct. It has been noteworthy, throughout this case of obscene medical neglect, that no provisional Sinn Fein Stormont minister has gone on record to protest this appalling brutality to a young Irish political prisoner. Their callous and well-paid silences speak volumes. We regret however that he is not being allowed proper recuperation and was returned to his cell in Belmarsh prison soon after the operation. This is not conducive to he making a full recovery from serious surgery.
