Please join the Providence Rhode Island Chapter of the Irish Freedom

· A blessing of the grave, and a gravesite oration by Irish Freedom
Committee representative Seoirse McLaughlin;
· Poetry readings, sean nosc singing and traditional Irish music;
· Lecture and symposium by Peter Stevens, author of "Voyage of the
Catalpa", followed by a book signing;
· Video presentation of "The Life and Times of James Wilson of Central
Falls" by Dick Tierney;
· Unveiling of the James Wilson exhibit at Central Falls Museum.

Announcement from SEARCHING FOR JAMES WILSON ROUNDTABLE:

Thanks to Don Twohig at the Central Falls Library, we now have a
link to James Wilson's life story at the library's website,
www.cflibrary.com . Here are a few images of the work he has begun,
along with a reminder of the upcoming commemoration and
lecture/book-signing at the library. Maire Concannon will definitely be
there to sing "The Soldier's Song" in Irish and English at the graveside
commemoration and "The Fenians' Escape" at the Lecture.
We have an added attraction: my son, Tomas and daughter, Aine will
be playing two traditional tunes on the tin whistle as a tribute to a
great Irish-American!
If you are coming, get there on time since the hall holds only 70
people. By the way, if you absolutely cannot come, you can still help by
sending a donation to the Search for James Wilson Fund at the Central
Falls Public Library, 210 Central Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island
02863.

Slan go foill!
Le meas,
Seoirse McLaughlin
