The three things that I want my class to know about me that was not discussed in my speech is... 1. I'm not only a student at Rockhurst, but I'm a student at Park Universtiy as well, and majoring in Social Psychology. 2. I am a mother of 4 children ages 4-10 and love to escort them to their various extra curricular activities. 3. I feel I have a lot of experience in the career I'm trying to pursue after getting my degrees because I'm known to many in my home town as a success story. This meaning, I was a client in 17 different agencies, then employed by a couple of the agencies, and also sat on the boards of all 17 agencies. I became known as a resouce finder and educator as well as a mentor/advocate/activist to many that started to choose a path in life I started to follow. I will not be satisfied until I am able to run my own program the way I want to run it and be able to help many with more knowledge that I gain by going to school.
