My name is Kiesha Elix and I am majoring in Organizational Communications. As I stated in my Introductory Speech, I am a people person. I really do enjoy meeting others and I look forward to the experiences new people bring to my life.

I wasn't sure if it would be interesting to know the following, because I felt it would sound cliche. But one thing I didn't mention is that I like to travel. I would really love to live overseas in another country. Preferably England as there is a lot of history in that country and it is conveniently close to other European countries.

A second thing about me is I love the water. I am planning on getting my license as a diver and I look to traveling to the South Pacific (Australia) to dive the Great Barrier Reef. If I lived near the ocean, I would be a surfer. The ocean is so vast and full of life. It helps me keep things in perspective. It helps remind me that I shouldn't sweat the small stuff, because all of it truly is small!

And lastly, I love to shop. I don't necessarily purchase just to purchase. I like the hunt. I get a picture in my mind of something that I need or want and I plan out in my head which store may have that particular item and I go for it. It is really exciting when I find the item in a store that I would have never expected to find it. It's also a lot of fun to stumble across a store that I had never been into or had even known that it existed.

All of these three things can clearly show that I am an adventurous, down to earth and easy going person. Just a few important things that I hope to display to everyone in this course.
