I work in a small electrical contractor's office. We don't communicate via email. I can tell you one encounter that I received during communication within our yacht club when I was preparing for junior sailing this year.
Recently we decided as an organization to look into developing a seperate entity for the educational program at our yacht club. I made the decision to work as a co-chair on the project. However the president of the organization approached me to take the lead because the chair was to busy with other commitment to the club. The chair found out about this and the president did not communicate effectively with the chair, so the chair became angry because he thought I was taking control of his project on my own. He sent an email to my collegues to let them know that my intrests were not in the club, but my intrests were only in my own personal gains. However a collegue sent me a copy of the email and it was brutal. It was definately a flaming email.
