I work as a freelance MA part-time, and last weekend I was booked for a huge wedding. One of the looks I did included the following:

(this bridesmaid had medium to light olive skin, dark brown eyes and hair)

Daytime shadow on the lid (pale peachy pink)
Soft Mocha in outer corner & crease - I cannot tell you how this made her eyes 'pop' - this was a gorgeous contour colour and I think it would be fabulous with the colour palette, yet still be neutral enough.

I did a black cake liner next to the the upper lashes, very thinly, "smooshed" well into the upper lash line. The overall look was very pretty and soft, and photographed beautifully.

Volare eyeshadow is another one of the staples in my kit - like many of DM's colours, it defies description. ;-) My best attempt: light peachy pinky shimmer w/a touch of bronze, this shadow is acutally a dead-ringer for Nars Nepal, if you are familiar with that. Great as a "wash" all over the lid - and goes with plums, neutrals, mochas.

Another fabulous shadow is Overcast - this one is hard to describe but what a stunner. It's a cool-toned medium gray/plum/taupe/metallic that is neutral. Told ya the colours defy description! ;-) Fantastic in the crease and over dark liners to give depth and soften the edge.

Sweet D is a lovely "lip toned" pinky brown that is a great universally flattering colour - you can brighten/deepen with liner if need be, but it's a great one. I also love Thursday lipstick (shimmery peachy bronze) which is great for those who wear warmer colours, but still want to be on the neutral side.

OK, I'll stop rambling for now! LOL

HTH!

Rachel
