Subject: update on my S I Law

hi there
wanted to let you all know about my Sister in Law Rebeca
she had surgery last Thurs. she went in late and got into surgery around 3.. was out in 3 hours.
they did the radical double mastectomy. they did a different mix of anesthesia so that she wouldn't be vomiting as much and it was more successful.

the plastic surgeon for the reconstruction wasn't there due to a miscommunication between the docs
anyway.. they did check the lymph nodes and the biopsies came back neg. they are waiting on the stains to come back early next week to see how those work out. if they are neg they will reevaluate if she needs chemo and radiation

I talked to her on Friday and she sounded tired but QUITE good! Amazingly so! I am so pleased. Anyway.. I left a message for her today and want to take dinner over there tomorrow so that I can see how she is doing.. or at least hear from her sister how she is doing .
anyway... I hear that my niece is doing well with Rebeca's sister who she hasn't seen for over a year. that makes life easier for Rebeca
I wish to tell you all how grateful my family esp my brother and sister in law are for your prayers and great concern. it is much appreciated.
They ask for you to keep on praying for them. They are very very appreciative for your support for them
