Subject: Possible HIBM for me?? - grandmother diagnosed

About a month ago my grandmother was diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myopathy. For about 5 or 6 years now I have had an irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, and palpitations, also being in the army I have to run and regardless of how much I train I cannot improve my time and my legs seem to always be in pain. I have had the standard heart tests done with negative results and yet I am still having these symptoms. I have read that in the even more rare cases of IBM starting in the internal organs rather than legs, these can be symptoms. I am 35 years old, mixed European dissent (Heinz 57). Should I have my DNA tested for this disease?
Thank you!!
