Are they hot enought? The Neptunes are doing what timbaland can't do: radio beats Timbaland has added variety to hip hop but he faild in expanding it.the '' future'' will have to bring Rock , Latin music ,ragga , Raggae,pop to hip hop.The neptunes are doing that but they have to think ''outside the box''. Why you think the song that run dmc made with areosmith had such success? They mixed rock and rap in a beautiful way. They added a hip hop vide to a mainly hardrock beat. Swizz beat tryed with metalica but he fail because he did the inverse. Can you imagine somebody who will mix classic music with hip hop right now witheout using sample machines? Can you imagine a producer who is able to compose a beat to express a feeling . Can you imagine a hip hop producer going 10 platinum with a instrumentals album. Can you imagine a hip hop producer that can freestyle on piano like Mozart did when he was just a kid? this person will be the tupac producer , doctor dre squared, the future. I am one of many who beleive that they can do that but what makes the difference between me and them is : dedication , hard work and sacrifice. If you feel that your may be the one too, work hard man ! let's get it!!

I think when JD said he was the best producer in the buisness he forgot about the NEPTUNES completey, COMPLETELY, all that cockyness aint gonna get him nowhere since timberland and neptune been puttin it down aint nobody been able to to drop they beats, thats all i have to say. oh yeah, and the song from jay-z's new album 'hovi baby is a good beat.
