Cephis raised his eyebrow as Lans approached
him, looking the rebel prince over.
"I'm suprised the good prince let you off
your chain. How did you manage to get out?"
he asked.
Waving his hand, he dismissed the question.
"It's not really important. Besides, it's not
like I really care. And many men could do such
damage. Perhaps having him in the spotlight will
reduce the chances of that happening. How many
great nations have fallen from men of power in the
shadows? With the spotlight on him, the prince will
find it hard to raise even a small amount of hell
without at least six of the emperors breathing down
his neck."
Cephis gave a little smile to the rebel, then opened
the door to the Blazing Ace, wincing slightly as he
hit with a wave of orange neon light.
"And as for removing him, I doubt it will need to
be done, Cassius," he said with a little sneer,
"the prince is an able ruler, and seems to care
about his subjects."
With that, the mercinary held open the door for the
rebel prince, and both walked into the glowing bar.
