Hi my name is Desiree Bundy from Idaho falls, ID. I thought that I would share with you something pretty awesome about my two sons derby car (general lee). See it all started when my oldest son became a Dukes of Hazzard fan at a very young age. By the time it came to pick out what kind of car he wanted to make for the Pine wood Derby car, he chose his favorite car the General Lee. When it came the day of the race, his car lived up to it name. It won for the fastest car and speed. Boy was we so excited for him and the fact that it out sped the other cars. Then just this year our youngest son made a general lee car and that to lived up to it's name too. It was so cool to see it speed so fast that one of the kids grandparents had our son Aaron's car reweighed, talk about jealousy. Just because our son Aaron's general lee car got faster speed than his grandson's, talk about pettiness. But sure was we ever so proud of his car. He received an award for the fastest speed, but for the best air. We'll I thought that you would love to hear about these true stories about two general lee derby cars that placed and how they became to be as a derby car. From the show that inspired it all.
