Subject: Why John is such a terrific father figure

I found the following article concerning John and thought it was interesting since I also feel strongly about what he said about parenthood.

The television series idea that I have written also depicts the main character "Nick" as a strong father figure who cares deeply about his family. The relationships which he has with his wife and children are of mutual love and respect. There are a few bumps along the way, but there's always a strong message of caring about each other as we would like others to care about us.

Even though I'm 43 (and getting older by the minute), I still have huge dreams for this series idea to become a reality. One of my favorite quotes is from Helen Keller, who said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of the dreams."

As I have worked on my scripts, I have daydreamed a lot as to who could play the characters. When I thought of John, I also knew that his role on "Smallville" was very important, but I've also noticed that as Clark Kent has gotten older and became more involved with other characters his own age, that John and Annette have not been as actively involved in story lines as what they were in the beginning. Then there's always the eventual story lines when Clark goes to college and encounters more people. Unfortunately, John and Annette may not be sharing the small screen as much as they once did. It's for that reason, that I thought John would also be a good candidate for this new role . . . that is, if I'm lucky to have a producer who is interested in it.

Which brings me to my next subject. Within the next few months I would like to place my scripts at a web site called inktip.com where producers can check out prospective scripts. I can only hope and pray that someone will show an interest in the story premise and also feel the same way as I do when it comes to casting the leading man.

As for writing, I'm happiest when I'm sitting in front of my computer typing away. Time goes by so quickly when I'm creating story ideas and dialogue. I get a lot of joy and satisfaction form writing.
