I wanted to pass on a link to a petition to help keep John on Smallville. I'm copying and reposting a message from the Imdb site message board. If anyone hasn't seen or signed this petition, please go sign it.

"Some of us "Smallville" fans have been disappointed by John's lack of screentime lately. That plus his character's health problems, plus the fact that the new "Superman" movie will stick with the timeline that had Jonathan die while Clark was in high school, has us a bit worried about the character's future on the show.
