Subject: In Loving Memory Of Schneider Kitty Author: Roberta Lynn Mayo [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:09:52 03/31/06 Fri In memory of my cat Schneider I received you from God as he works in mysterious ways You joined our home on July 3rd 2005 needing some one who could love you and not hurt you as others had already done. The vet said you were about 9 weeks old when he examined you. And together we made you well, even though you still carried the scar on your chin. I never found out who hurt you or who placed you in my car to be found by our family, but I just believed that God wanted you with us for many reasons. Jesus knew we would love you dearly and keep you safe. We named You Schneider after our favorite actor and also a special cat we had before. You were beautiful with silver blue grey fur. I was told you were a blue persian just like the Schneider cat I had before you. You were so good to us and we were good to you. You loved being inside and playing outside too. Even with the twelve kitties we had running around here, although I pet each one every day you were the one I held most dear. And although you left us in such a tragic way and no one knows why you crossed the street that day. You knew you were a papa of one beautiful silver blue grey kitten that looks just like you. We all found it funny strange how the calico mama cat had just one kitten and it looks just like you. YOu pranced around that day that your baby was born trying to get a look you even crawled across the closet clothes hanging pole to look into that box. Remember how I teased you about being a daddy when you were only ten months old. You just looked at me and stared back out the window. You went in and out that day, and then when I called for you, you never came. I kept looking each and every day always calling your name. "Kitty Kitty Schneider." but you never came. I even asked God to give me a dream of where you might be, and He did, in my dream you came dancing up to me. You had been gone for a week and two days and when I found you in that place, a place I had looked before to no avail. You weren't there before. But as I crying took you home and said my good bye laying you to rest, I remembered the dream God gave me to find you, and realized that everything in the dream was where you were found. Funny how God cared enough for even just a little cat that He wanted me to know where you were after I asked Him to tell me in a dream. And He knew I would be grieving so God gave you as papa a baby kitten to leave behind for me to in your memory share my love. We call him Little Schneider. Just so you know my dear kitty as you watch from heaven above this whole family will forever give your baby love.... I am telling your story in that novel that I'm writing the one called 'La Kitties Meow" All of our kitty family's stories will be told so you will live on in folks hearts. You will always live on in mine...
