"Hi Mini!" said Holly as she walked over to Mini's stall. The little mare nickered back. flick whinnied at Emily before she could say anything to him. "He must really like you Em." I said. "That's my boy!" she said. the girls tacked up their horses. "Do you want to jump again today Holly?" I asked her. she squealed happily and sad yes. The girls and i went out to the hunter ring. While they hacked around I set up a small crossrail for mini and Holly and ground poles for Flick. I put a pair of standards next to the fast pole so Flick could get used to seeing them on either side of him. "Did you both walk,trot,and canter each direction?" I asked them since it had taken me awhile to move the standards and set up everything. "Yep." they each said. "Ok, Holly, you trot down this line of poles and Emily you follow her on Flick." I said. Holly bent forward over the poles as she should. Flick was surprisingly good over the poles and through the standards. Do it again! I said. Everything went well again. "Ok, Holly trot the crossrail and Emily after she does that do the poles again." I said. holly had nearly perfect timing over the jumps. Flick was good again so we stopped at that. They cooled out their horses and dismounted. They untacked and put the horses away. They helped me fed and then we went back up to the house.
