I yawned as my mother shook me awake.
"Get up, sweets! I need to take you over to the stable, Ele is acting weird, Helen just called."
I hopped out of bed, put on my riding boots, hopped in moms new truck, and waited for her to drive to GRF. I loved my mom, even though she adopted me.

When I got out of the truck, I heard my mom say: "Helen, Julia is going to ride Ele today, is that ok?"
"Yep"
I saddled up Ele in haste, and hearing her whinny with pleasure.
