HERE ARE MANY SPELLINGS OF THE NAME BAINES,BANE,BEANS ECT.
AS A GENERAL RULE-THE BEAN FAMILY CAME FROM GERMANY,WHILE THE BEANS FAMILY,OF THIS WEB SITE,DESCENDED FROM SCOTLAND.
THEY LEFT SCOTLAND FOR ENGLAND AND THEN ON TO AMERICA IN THE 1600'S. SINCE BOTH FAMILIES WERE CARELESS IN SPELLING THEIR NAME,SOMETIMES SPELLING IN BANES ON ONE PART OF THE DOCUMENT AND BEANS ON THE OTHER PART,IT TAKES MUCH CAREFUL RESEARCH TO FIND YOUR TRUE ANCESTER.
