Hello Roze;

I would need more information to be able to help you. We do have a Maude Barnes in the family,She was the daughter of Anna Beans and Elwood Barnes. Her twin sister's name was Mable. As a general rule, The name spelled B E A N without the "S", usually denotes a German background,whiie B E A N S with the "S" is the Scotch way of spelling it.
