Rebekah, With all the recent snow that we have received, I'm sure that you have had a few opportunities to try out your new sled and dogs. There are several people who live in south Jersey who may be able to give you a hand. I suggest that you contact the Jersey Sands Sled Dog Club, you can get to them through a link from our club page. Depending on where you are located, the best place to train is the Pine Barrens, also known as Lebanon State Forest. Dave and Patti Kulpa live in that area and would gladly work with you (609-893-0909)also Carl Whitby is an experienced musher from south Jersey (609-893-4151). You can also try Herman and Hetti Lindeboom at(609-965-7230). Good Luck. All of our club members are from northern New Jersey. We train at High Point State Park when there is snow.
