Subject: Dogsledding in NJ- Awesome!

Hello,
I used to live in Alaska and have been back in NJ for about a year and a half now. I was browsing the web looking for info about mushing clubs, figuring the closest ones would be in New England- what a great surprise to find one in NJ!!!
While in AK, I had the opportunity to work for some great people who run the Iditarod every year, along with some other mushers, and learned a lot about the sport. I helped train retired sled dogs to become wonderful companion animals and get them adopted out into great homes. Although not a musher myself, I miss the environment and find myself thinking about it more the longer I am away. I do plan to become more involved in the sport some day, when I have money and a permanent home (I'm still a student)!
I would love to come to some of your events this winter, and to talk to anyone who is interested in trading info with me. I'd love to learn more about dogsledding!
