My name is Janelle. I am thirteen years old and ever since two or three years ago in sixth grade, Elvis became my idol. One of my teachers loves him, and he just got the 30 #1 hits (the gold one) that I want so very very much :). We have to pick a hero for a school project. I want to chose him because he took many different kinds of music from many different racial backrounds and sang them all. He filled in a major racial gap, and has many fans from every race. Without him, music wouldn't be what it is today. If he were still alive, I would send him a thank you card, lol. All my friends know I would do that ;).
