I also think that with free speech, comes some consequences. What I don't like, it someone exercising their right to free speech, and them being so surprised, or so crushed when the fallback isn't the way they thought it would be. Everything we do and say in life, has consequences. If you exercise your right of free speech, I guarantee you, that someone else, not agreeing with you, will exercise theirs as well. Use it, but don't cry when other people use it right back on you. I think free speech is for everyone of course, but I also think that some people can take it too far. Instead of just voicing their opinions, and moving on, they can make a big production out of it. I think that is what turns people against them, really quickly. It's one thing to exercise your right of free speech, but then it's one thing to just turn nasty about it.

So what consequences are you talking about, Sassy? Being shot (Kennedy) or losing your job? (numerous examples) Or maybe a good old-fashioned "necktie party?"Simply Irritated22:04:58 08/12/03 Tue
