A friend told me this story about Rush Limbaugh being picked up by the police for engaging in "lewd behavior" with another man. I will not post his name here. Does anyone know more about this? If this can be properly documented, I'll publicize it to every far corner of the net. A good place to start would be a Lexis-Nexus search of Pittsburgh newspapers in the 70's.

Anyway, in my friend's words:

Back in the 70s Rush was known as Jeff Christie on KQV radio in Pittsburgh. He was a a hip DJ.

Here's a link from those days.

There is a street in pittsburgh called Winthrop Street by the University of Pittsburgh campus which is where gays used to go cruising. One night, Jeff got caught in a lewd act with another man. He got fired from KQV radio and the whole campus spewed about it for weeks.

Has anyone else heard this?
